Description
Our Client is looking for a Procurement Engineer who will play a key role in their Company’s Engineering and Procurement Contractor’s office to act as a key gatekeeper to ensure procurement is timely for delivery to Site and done in accordance with all necessary procedures.

Job
- Ensure Company requirements adhered to in Contractor’s procurement procedures
- Approve key pre-award documentation in accordance with agreed procedures
- Deliver all necessary internal approvals for strategy and award for POs
- Set up POs in SAP for payment, ensure timely payment in accordance with the PO
- Review and ensure all invoices are paid in accordance with the PO and Company’s cost recovery procedures
- Interface with the Logistics Contractor and Majnoon Site to ensure seamless procurement to onsite receipt
- Identify areas where Company’s Enterprise Framework Agreements can be utilised
- Follow C&P procedures and CPPM in tenders and contract management;
Skills

Requirements
- Experience in procurement in oil & gas projects (ideally upstream) in engineering/procurement offices where procurement done on behalf of Company (procurement services)
- Arabic language skills a benefit
- Good knowledge of SAP
