Responsibilities:
• Preparing simple plans and designs;
• Calculating and preparing bills of materials in accordance with established codes, standards, drawings and other specifications;
• Performing routine technical surveys;
• Recommending modifications to conception or production techniques or materials;
• Assisting more experienced technical personnel with specific aspects of more complex tasks.
Requirements:
• University graduation in applied science or engineering with no practical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Eligible for registration as a junior engineer or an engineer in training;
• General knowledge of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques.
