Job Description
1- Achieve the daily plan and suggest the best schedule to achieve the plan if required.
2- Achieve the monthly and yearly plan.
3- Meet with the other shift production assistant to handover the shift and discuss the required plan on daily basis.
4- Meet with Production manager for any suggestion or more requirements for the plan and discuss with him the last day shift summery and achievements.
5- Explain the shift requirements and production schedule and target on each machine to his supervisor.
6- Check all machines parameters as per production checklist and make sure that all operators are following the instruction sheets requirements.
7- Make sure that the plant WIP is at minimum level.
8- Assure best utilization of manpower and assure all machines are running efficiently.
9- Improve the OEE of all machines by eliminating the NVA activities.
10- Insure harmonic flow for drums and raw materials inside the plant.
11- Provide leadership for continuous scrap reduction projects (continuous improvement projects)
12- Meet with quality to discuss and decrease all quality defects which lead to more cost or customer complaint (Deviation, rework, defected products…).
13- Daily meeting with maintenance to reduce the machines breakdown and improve machines performance.
14- Assure standardization of raw material and scrap storage areas on each machine as per standardized lay-out.
15- Assure healthy and safe environment for all operators and helpers and make sure they are cleaning their machines
